- The Blue Mt Chapter (Union County) of Oregon Rural Action is every first Thursday of the month at 6PM. Please join us for this meeting! The chapter will go over updates including the Solarize Union County! project and work on some business together including planning for congressional recess meetings lawmakers. We will also evaluate the chapter's strength and discuss chapter development and leadership. The chapter will break into groups to work on four projects and campaigns: 1. Seed saving project planning, 2. Local energy guide development, 3. Backyard chickens campaign and 4. Gleaning Day planning.

- The Eastern Oregon Renewable Energies Non-profit presents Solwest Fair the last full weekend of each July. SolWest is an occasion for learning, networking, and supporting all types of renewable energy. This three-day event offers engaging activities for all ages and knowledge levels. Participants from around the western region and beyond come to join the SolWest community and learn about energy efficiency, solar and wind energy, alternatively fueled vehicles, and more. This year's theme is "Journey to the Future: Traditional Skills ~ New Technology ~ A Plentiful Life"
