Oregon Rural Action will be hosting a free audio-conference on biomass energy, led by Biowood Energy, in the La Grande office on Fri. Feb. 5th at 8am.
Scott Nichols, President of BioHeatUSA and co-founder of Biomass Thermal Energy Council, will speak and provide an overview of available wood heating boiler technology, and discuss why, now so more than ever, heating with wood, can drive down heating costs. Combustion technology using wood as heating fuel has entered the 21st century by providing high efficiency fuel combustion and heat transfer, with very low emissions.
This audio conference will address:
- High efficiency (pellet, chip and cordwood) wood fuel boilers
- Discuss innovative technologies & applications
- How new technologies can drive down heating costs
- Fuel types and delivery options – Pellets/Wood Chips/Cordwood
- Discuss available and pending tax incentives for biomass heating
