BMC Community Garden Committee Meeting
Purpose
The purpose of the BMC Community Garden Committee meeting is meeting to do detailed, complete planning for the 2010 garden season.
Draft Agenda
- Approving, changing the 2008/2009 agreement with the gardeners
- Approving, changing the 2008/2009 garden rules and policies
- Create garden goals for the year
- Creating a list of 2010 "things to do"
- Dividing up 2010 work between Garden Committee, gardeners, EOU, ORA, and coordinator(s)
- Identifying skills, interests of Community Garden Committee members
- Create proposal or memo of understanding for EOU
- Plan marketing and recruiting
- Plan which classes to be taught at the garden

- Review the minutes from January 14th Community Garden Committee meeting. To get a copy, email nella@oregonrural.org
- Review the 2008/2009 mission statement, goals, requirements for participation, rules and gardener commitment letter and pledge
- Make a few notes about your ideas regarding the above agenda items to share
- Bring your input to the meeting about the above documents for the 2010 season
- Bring your friends to the meeting! Many hands make light work.
We have a lot to get through for the meeting, so I think it will probably take 1.5 hours. Future meetings shouldn't take so long. Please come prepared with all your brilliant ideas and call if you have any questions.
