Community FEAST
CAPECO and Columbia Food Links are sponsoring a Community FEAST (Food Education Agriculture Solutions Together) on January 25th as a way to build community; strengthen existing projects; launch new projects with community support and involvement; identify local needs, resources and opportunities; improve community health and nutrition; and support our local food and agriculture economy. Sharon Thornberry, Oregon Food Bank Community Resource Developer, will present.

A Community FEAST Workshop is a way to:
- Build community
- Strengthen existing projects
- Launch new projects with community support and involvement
- Identify community food needs, resources and opportunities
- Improve community health and nutrition
- Support our local food and agriculture economy
We will address issues such as:
- Hunger and nutrition
- Access to local food
- Local agriculture and food production
- Youth opportunities
At the Community FEAST Workshop you can:
- Learn about local food and farming
- Share knowledge & concerns
- Identify what we want, create a plan and begin taking action for change
Presenter: Sharon Thornberry, Oregon Food Bank Community Resource Developer
$10 registration fee includes local foods luncheon, though no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
