This is the second meeting of the Oregon Rural Action Blue Mountain Chapter community workshop team. The owner of the Bohnenkamp building is interested in using the space as a community workshop that individuals could use to work on projects they are interested in or to learn new skills.
The Blue Mountain Chapter is working with the owner to include a commercial kitchen as part of the project. A commercial kitchen would give individuals an opportunity to start small businesses and sell homemade food at events such as the La Grande Farmers Market.
At this meeting we will be further developing our strategic plan and identifying what resources will be needed as we move forward.
