La Grande Presentation: New Rules on Food Processing & Direct Sales
In 2011 the Oregon Legislature clarified and changed rules making it legal to sell home-processed products including fresh and dried fruits and vegetables, grains, legumes and seeds, eggs and unadulterated honey as well as pickles, sauerkraut, preserves, jams, jellies and syrups under certain conditions. This presentation will answer questions about selling home-processed foods and foods made on-sight at Farmers Markets and other venues.
