Postponed from its original date on May 25th because of rain! (Which means you have another chance to participate.)
Oregon Rural Action is joining with Hells Canyon Preservation Council and the Native Plant Society to co-sponsor a volunteer day to clear invasive weeds from Gangloff Park on the edge of La Grande.
Here are the details:
Meet at Gangloff Park, the City Park above Pioneer Park, accessed by driving toward the on-ramp to HY 84 toward Pendleton. Gangloff features a historic cabin and native plant landscape. We will dig and pull non-natives. Bring garden gloves, and shovels or weed diggers. Native Plant Society members will aid in plant ID.
Call Susan Geer at 541-963-0477 if you have questions or can bring a wheelbarrow.
