2010 Music at the Market Announced

The schedule has been announced for the “Kneads Bakery Presents Music at the Market” concert series to be presented throughout the La Grande Farmers' Market 2010 season. Leah Starr, owner of Kneads Bakery, coordinates the music series by bringing together local bands and community sponsors. “We look forward to another great season of music and food in downtown La Grande,” Star said. “The local musicians add a local flavor to this regular community event.”
Music is performed at the La Grande Farmers' Market every Saturday throughout the season from 9:00 am to noon. The 2010 season kicks off on Saturday, May 22 and runs through Saturday, October 23. The performances take place at Max Square in downtown La Grande at the corner of 4th and Adams. Bands set up on a covered stage which is located facing the tiered benches built into the square. Music can be enjoyed while shopping, eating breakfast or lunch, or seated with family and friends.
