It was a chilly, but fun opening day.

brrrr!

Beth Wasley, Market Manager

Opening day was a cold one (have I mentioned that?)- we all had our ski caps on and needed weights for our canopies so they wouldn't blow away - but despite all that, we had 19 intrepid vendors participate.    We had a lot of vendors selling plants; hanging baskets, vegetable starts, and bedding plants, Mia had a truck-load of beautiful greens...we had eggs there, hand-spun/hand/dyed yarn, soaps and lotions, lamb, beef, worm casings for your garden, jewelry, some tasty homemade salsa - quite a spectrum of goods, really.   The music of TooBamBoo helped keep our spirits up; there is nothing quite like having Al MacLeod at the mic.  Thank you to everyone who came down to help us kick off the season!

See you next week!

Be sure and look at our photos from the Season Opener on Facebook and check out the article on LaGrandeLife.
