This week at the market

La Grande Farmers' Market from 4th Street

Come on down to the market where we will have:
  • A lot of garden plants for sale - vegetable starts, bedding plants also hanging baskets and planters.
  • Spinach, Lettuce and other greens
  • Asparagus
  • Beef
  • Eggs
  • Treats from Kneads Bakery
  • Many lovely crafts from local Artisans.
  • The Friends of Mt. Emily will be drawing a winning name for their Mountain Bike Raffle! 
  • You can also support the Farmers' Market and enter to win a  $25 gift certificate from Foley Station!

I am really excited to get some starts to plant in my plot at the community garden! This is the first season I have had my own garden, and I can't wait to be eating all of the fresh, local fruits and vegetables I plan to eat.

Breakfast at the Market

One of the great opportunities at the Market is to have breakfast at Mamacita's. They offer their great breakfast only on Saturday for the Market crowd (breakfast burritos, croissant breakfast sandwiches, waffles, etc). Once it warms up. . you can eat outside and watch the fabulous market activities proceed and listen to the music! ! !
