Annual Convention 2008
Oregon Rural Action's seventh Annual Convention, October 4, 2008
THANK YOU FOR A SUCCESSFUL ANNUAL CONVENTION!
Thank
you to everyone who attended and helped to make Oregon Rural Action's
seventh Annual Convention its most energetic and best-attended yet. We
were excited to see lots of new faces in the crowd and encouraged that
there is such interest in the issues Oregon Rural Action is working on.
Those in attendance were treated to a lively keynote by ecological farmer and author Joel Salatin and were later inspired through several workshops. Beyond the successful completion of some important organizational business, such as passing two resolutions and electing a full board of directors, attendees had opportunity to network and enjoy locally grown food and beverages. All in all, the consensus was that it was a worthwhile convention and a great way to make change.
We will be updating our website soon with more convention-related pictures and information. So stay tuned!

We would love your feedback! If you didn't get a chance to fill out the evaluation form at the convention, you can download it here and send it in. Thank you!
