We are getting ready to go forward with a Beta Taste of the Harvest of the Month tasting tables. On May 10th we will be in North Powder, May 11 in Imbler and May 19 in Union. The tasting tables will feature Spinach prepared in multiple ways, including as a dessert!
We are getting ready to go forward with a Beta Taste of the Harvest of the Month tasting tables. On May 10th we will be in North Powder, May 11 in Imbler and May 19 in Union. The tasting tables will feature Spinach prepared in multiple ways, including as a dessert! Don't believe that spinach can be paired with strawberries? Come have lunch with your student and find out how delicious it is.
Fresh local spinach will be coming from the Walla Walla Farmers Market. Contact Oregon Rural Action to find out more about how to purchase directly from producers.
We could use help in offsetting the costs of the printed educational materials as well as the cost of the food items. As a sponsor, your name/Logo will be featured on all the take home educational materials, in our press releases and on this blog. We have estimated the tasting costs to be $2.00 per child.
